It’s now clear when the Unfortunate Events befalling the Baudelaire Orphans will lastly end, thanks to Neil Patrick Harris.
After the very first season, Netflix restored A Series of Unfortunate Events for a 3rd and 2nd season. Considering that the very first season covered the very first 4 of Lemony Snicket’s 13 Baudelaire books, some fans presumed that 3 seasons would suffice to cover the remainder of the series.
Producer Neil Patrick Harris (who plays Count Olaf) validated to TELEVISION Guide that this would hold true. “We’re three seasons all in,” he stated. “We’ve intentionally been very truthful and factual and loyal to the books. We’ve added a few characters that aren’t in the books, we’ve added some songs that you probably couldn’t put into the books, but for the most part we’re sticking to the structure of what already worked.”
In other words, the series will not be checking out even more the lives of Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Baudelaire, and will rather end where Snicket meant, adjusting the appropriately called series-ender The End
Season 2 of the Netflix series will premiere on March 30, as revealed in a teaser by Harris’s Count Olaf. See the unfortunate tale of the Baudelaire orphans continue above.Related youtube video: (not from post)
