While Ronan Farrow is landing gushing cover stories as if he were the only individual to examine Harvey Weinstein’s decades-long predatory habits, the press reporters who really broke the story initially simply landed a worldwide book offer.

Jodi Kantor and Megan Twohey, the 2 New York Times press reporters who initially released a story on how Weinstein pestered and attacked females in Hollywood, are releasing a book on their examination. The book will come out in America with Penguin Press and now in the UK with Bloomsbury, The Bookseller reports. Twohey tweeted the statement, composing “We are so grateful/excited!”

A declaration from the publisher states the book will go even further than the examination Kantor and Twohey composed on Weinstein. “Jodi Kantor and Megan Twohey’s rigorous and brave reporting broke a news story that changed our culture,” composed the publisher. “In this book, their investigations will go further and deeper, looking at particular women’s experiences, but also analysing a more universal story about power and gender.”

Kantor and Twohey stated in a joint declaration to The Bookseller: “As we’ve watched the worldwide reckoning unfold, our journalistic commitment to truly understanding this problem— and figuring out what needs to change— has only deepened.” The book is set to release in Spring 2019.
