While the terrific U.K. comedy Peep Show might be regretfully no more, the onscreen partnership in between its 2 stars, David Mitchell and Robert Webb, stays a continuous issue and it was revealed today that the set’s brand-new program, Back, will premiere on SundanceTV, 11 p.m. ET, March 7.
Created and composed by Simon Blackwell ( Veep), Back stars Mitchell as the little town-dwelling, sad-sack Stephen who, following the death of his club proprietor dad, lastly has an opportunity to shine as he is set to take control of the household organisation. His strategies are disrupted when the lovely Andrew (Webb), a previous foster kid briefly raised by Stephen’s moms and dads, turns up out of the blue at his dad’s funeral service and is excited to restore his relationship with the closest thing to a household he has actually ever understood.
