The Donald Trump animation program will continue.
The one on Showtime, that is. The network revealed on Thursday that it had actually purchased 7 more episodes of Our Cartoon President
The animated series, that includes Stephen Colbert amongst its executive manufacturers, will complete its 10- episode operate on April 8 prior to returning this summer season with the 2nd part of the very first season.
Our Cartoon President– which premiered last month and is balancing 2 million audiences per episode– brings audiences inside the White House and satirizes the “true-ish misadventures” of President Trump, his relative, and consultants. The program sometimes plucks discussion from real-life interviews with Trump and his consultants, and Colbert thinks that Our Cartoon President is not stabilizing this controversy-soaked POTUS. “I don’t think there’s anything normal about his behavior as a cartoon,” Colbert just recently informed press reporters at the TCA Winter Press Tour in Pasadena. “The subjects we’re picking are dark enough that reflect the stakes of truly cartoonish behavior in the actual 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.”Related youtube video: (not from post)
