Bust out the tissues, Snow Patrol is returning with a brand-new album this spring.

The Northern Irish-Scottish rock band is back May 25 with the very first album in 7 years, entitled Wildness which, per the release, “taps into something raw and primitive.”

This is the very first album from the group given that 2011’s Fallen Empires, when they took a prolonged break to deal with solo tasks. “There are many types of wildness, but I think it can be distilled into two: the wildness of the modern age, all it’s confusion, illogic and alienation and a more ancient wildness,” states the band’s frontman Gary Lightbody of the brand-new body of work. “Something primal, alive and beautiful that speaks to our true connectivity, our passion, our love, our communion with nature and each other. This is the kind of wildness the album is centered around. The loss of it. Trying to reconnect with it. To remember it.”

Wildness is readily available to pre-order now here. Have a look at the cover art listed below and see a trailer for the brand-new record above.
