“I think it’s best if we forget about this weekend…” A trailer has actually shown up for an indie movie entitled Furlough, which went under the working title Emergency Furlough while shooting, made by director Laurie Collyer( Sherrybaby). The movie stars Tessa Thompson as a novice correctional officer at a detainee. She invests half of her time taking care of her mom, played by Whoopi Goldberg, and operating at the jail. She gets a possibility to show her guts when she’s entrusted with accompanying a hell-raising prisoner, played by Melissa Leo, on an emergency situation furlough to visit her passing away mom, winding up on an amusing trip together.
