Anthony Scaracmucci’s tenure as White House communications director was as brief as it was memorable, and The Daily Show paid a tongue-in-cheek tribute to the fast-talking former Wall Street financier Monday, hours after news broke of his ouster.
Thanks to Trevor Noah and his team, the Scaramucci era — a.k.a., “Late July 2017 – Slightly Later July 2017” — has been immortalized in a 43-second montage of his greatest hits, from his steadfast declarations of love for President Trump to his profane New Yorker rant.
The Daily Show also tweeted an image touting a faux reality show called The Celebrity Appresident, with departed Trump administration officials (Scaramucci, Reince Priebus, Sean Spicer) whited out. “Who will be the next to go?!” the tweet teased.
The Daily Show airs Monday through Thursday at 11 p.m. ET on Comedy Central.Related youtube video: (not from post)
